JOHN ALEX HOULTON
ALDEN WEST
Alden's desert credits include "The Hound of the Baskervilles", the first play ever performed at IPAC; Joslyn Senior Center's "Driving Miss Daisy" (for which she received a Desert Theatre League "Best Actress" nomination); "The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940", "I Remember Mama", "The Women", and "My Fair Lady" at the Palm Canyon Theatre; "News Boy" and "Cloud Nine" at Thorny Theatre; Sun City Performing Arts' production of "Bermuda Avenue Triangle", "Arsenic and Old Lace", "Happiness is...Love and Other Things", and "The Night of January 16th"; and the Desert Rose Theatre's "Two Times Two". Before Miss Daisy, her favorite role was that of Countess Aurelia in "The Madwoman of Chaillot" at Cornell University. Alden is simply "Wilde" about performing at IPAC once again.
DANNY GONZALEZ
Danny is a singer, praise and worship leader, teacher, choir director, local playwright and community actor. He began his acting career at the age of 18, playing Jesus in the Passion play at the Apostolic Church of Indio. He has since been Jesus everytime there is a passion play, and plays other characters there as well. Danny also played Li’l Abner in Coachella Valley High School’s production, and Scrooge’s Nephew in A Christmas Carol for the same company. After Li’l Abner he was told he was in the wrong profession, so he has decided to pursue his performing arts career more seriously. He hopes to follow in his teenage daughter’s footsteps...who takes her drama very seriously.
LISA HAMMERT
Lisa's claim to fame is working as Ellen DeGeneres’ body double. Her first acting role was playing a “Trashette” for a waste dump commercial. She doesn't count working at Chuck E. Cheese, a role from which she proudly claims to have been fired. Lisa is a former print journalist who transitioned to broadcast news. As a news field producer, she acquired extensive studio and on-air experience. She switche to commercial film work as a producer at CafeFX, a visual effects firm. She was inspired to co-found her own production company, Penny Jar Pictures, LLC, following her CINE Award winning work as producer and director of “The Penny Jar,” a black and white documentary about pet overpopulation and euthanasia. The film won a 25th Anniversary Telly Award and named one of the top 25 most important films on the environment in 1999 by the Edison Media and Arts Consortium. Since her debut with “The Penny Jar”, Lisa has directed more than 50 corporate and industrial films. She has won Telly and Cine Awards for her creative film work and national awards for her corporate and nonprofit clients. She is a professionally trained actor and is a member of the Screen Actor’s Guild. She has recently worked as an actor with Martin Scorsese and Ellen DeGeneres on two advertising campaigns for American Express.
VALERIE-JEAN HUME (Playwright, Director, Narrator)
VALERIE-JEAN (VJ) HUME HOLDS A B.F.A. IN THEATRE. SHE SINGS IN TEN LANGUAGES, PLAYS THE HARP, SINGS WITH BANDS, IMPERSONATES CELEBRITIES IN LAS VEGAS, AND HAS ACTED IN MUSICAL COMEDY REVUES, DRAMATIC THEATRE, COMMERCIALS, AND A WORLDWIDE TV SERIES. SHE HOSTED HER CELEBRITY INTERVIEW RADIO SHOW “VJ’S CORNER” FOR OVER 18 YEARS. SHE HAS ALSO WORKED AS A PUPPETEER, MODEL, NEWSPAPER COLUMNIST, VOICE-OVER, CRUISE SHIP HOSTESS, AND SONGWRITER. A MEMBER OF MENSA, SHE HAS WON ATHENA, CHRISTOPHER, ANGEL, BEST SUPPORTING ACTRESS, AND PRESSWOMAN AWARDS. BORN IN CANADA, SHE TRAVELED THE WORLD WITH HER MUSIC, BUT CAME TO THE PALM SPRINGS AREA IN 1987, AND NEVER LEFT. VJ WROTE AND DIRECTED "WILDE PEOPLE!"

HERACLIO PIMENTEL, JR.
Heraclio "Eric" Pimentel Jr. is a recent graduate of the University of California, Irvine, where he earned a B.A. in Drama with minors in Education and Linguistics. Heraclio is very fond of physically based and non-traditional theatre.For the past few years he has been involved with "Clownzilla" a clowning troupe based out of Irvine, Ca. Heraclio is very pleased to be working with everyone in the cast to put on this production.
NORMAN MARK
A multi-talented media personality, Norman Mark currently writes entertaining, bi-monthly wine columns for the Desert Entertainer, where he also reviews films each week.
Norm has been the host of popular television and radio shows in Chicago, Cincinnati, San Francisco and Palm Springs. He was the Emmy-award-winning entertainment reporter for NBC Chicago. The author of seven published books, his awards include a Chicago Emmy, a Sigma Delta Chi for radio public service and three nominations for the Pulitzer Prize.
He has played Thomas Jefferson while reading the letters between Jefferson and John Adams.
Norm is grateful to VJ for allowing him to energetically play bored Brits and to his wife Grace for encouraging him in everything except parachuting.
CLARE O'FLYNN
Clare O'Flynn is a senior at Xavier College Prep in Palm Desert and has been involved in their drama department the past four years. She has recently been seen in CDRT's Clara. Clare has been accepted to the School of Film and Television at Loyola Marymount University and plans to pursue a career in the film industry. She will be performing in "Just Another High School Play" later this spring, and intends to continue acting throughout the duration of her college career.
